Snow Day

The worst part about growing up is not having snow days. It's a rather unfortunate change. Work doesn't EVER get canceled. But, today we DID have a snow day! Church was canceled due to the 15+ inches of snow that was kindly dumped onto Ohio since Friday.

First, we slept in till 11am. Well, we thought it was 11am, until we realized that the time had changed. Oops! NOON!?!?!? Then, we made cinnamon rolls for...lunch?? And then we put our boots on for a snowy adventure. The snow was blinding because of the bright sun, and my eyes were actually tearing. But, it was one of the most beautiful winter days I've ever seen.

Hi John and Leah,
I found your blog through your Mom's site. I'm your mom's "old" friend from Pennsylvania who has lived in Colorado for years. Its so fun to read about you and Leah and your new life together. God has been so good to bless you with such a wonderful relationship!
I enjoyed the snow pictures. If you lived in Colorado you'd get used to wearing sunglasses in the snow REAL quick! Apparently it wouldn't be a bad idea in Ohio either.
God bless you guys!
